In March, 2004 residents of the West Kern Community College District  voiced strong support for the revitalization of Taft College by approving a $39.8 million bond for the construction and renovation of Taft College facilities. This approval makes the college eligible for over $60 million in construction financing from other sources. In all, Taft College will have over $100 million available for campus improvements.

By following the links on this site, you will be able to monitor the college’s progress toward a new campus. You, along with the Citizen’s Review Committee, will also be able to monitor expenditures for every individual project.
